About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior / Principal Backend Engineer who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys solving complex data challenges, and wants to shape a product from its early stages.

At ChatRevenue, we focus on goals, not ceremonies – no endless grooming sessions or heavy planning rituals.
You’ll have a direct influence on architecture, product decisions, and data design. Decisions are made quickly through open discussion and collaboration, without corporate bureaucracy.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python / FastAPI
• Work with structured and unstructured data
• Implement AI-driven features into backend logic and APIs
• Ensure DevOps best practices (testing, CI/CD, security, Docker/Kubernetes)
• Collaborate closely with product, data, and frontend engineers to deliver business values fast

What We’re Looking For

• Strong Python experience, ideally with FastAPI, async programming, proven capacity to write production-ready code with speed and precision.
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL) and data processing frameworks (Pandas, ETL/ELT)
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Cloud
• Understanding of data architecture, performance optimization, and scalability
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and code review culture
• Excellent teamwork skills – constructive feedback, collaboration, and ownership mindset

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenSearch, Kafka, or Azure Data Services
• Exposure to DevSecOps and advanced debugging
• Knowledge of Generative AI integration into backend systems
• Develop and maintain data flows, ETL/ELT pipelines, and integrations between internal and external systems

About the Role 

This role is for engineers who thrive in dynamic environments where processes are still being shaped and impact is immediate. 

At ChatRevenue, we focus on outcomes rather than ceremonies – no endless grooming sessions or heavy planning rituals. 

Our engineering processes are evolving, and you’ll have a direct influence on how they are structured. There are no excessive management layers or long approval chains – decisions are made quickly through open discussion and direct collaboration. 

Previous startup experience is not required. What matters is your ability to operate without rigid rules, take initiative, and make independent technical decisions. 

What You’ll Do 

• Architect and maintain backend services using Python / FastAPI 
• Build seamless integrations with between our code product and external ecosystems (CRM, communication platforms) 
• Design and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines 
• Develop and deploy production-ready Generative AI features to enhance product capabilities 
• Lead features from initial technical design to production release and ongoing support 
• Deliver high-quality code in short, impactful cycles 
• Maintain DevOps best practices (testing, CI/CD, security, containerization) 

What We’re Looking For 

• Strong Python skills (FastAPI, async, Pydantic) 
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL), Pandas, and data pipelines 
• Solid understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, Kafka 
• Experience with CI/CD and Git-based workflows 
• Curiosity about product-building and openness to evolving environments 
• Strong teamwork skills – constructive code reviews, active participation in technical discussions, and ownership mindset

We’re looking for a Senior Python AI Engineer to join our core team and take ownership of GenAI and RAG pipelines in production. 

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy ambiguity, move fast, and want their work to be visible in the product from day one. 
We focus on outcomes, not ceremonies –  minimal bureaucracy, fast decisions, real ownership. 

What You’ll Do 

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade GenAI / RAG pipelines 
• Integrate LLMs and agentic assistants into real business workflows 
• Build and operate vector search, embedding stores, and knowledge graphs 
• Ingest, clean, enrich, and structure large external data streams 
• Experiment with new GenAI frameworks, tools, and multi-agent systems 
• Improve reliability, latency, and cost-efficiency of AI pipelines 
• Mentor engineers and share best practices across the team 

What We’re Looking For 

• Strong Python backend experience (FastAPI, async, APIs) 
• Hands-on experience with LLMs in production (OpenAI-family or similar) 
• Practical experience with RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector stores 
  LangChain / LangGraph / LangSmith or similar orchestration frameworks 
  SQL, data processing (Pandas), ETL / data cleaning 
• Docker, CI/CD, Git; experience deploying to cloud (Azure preferred) 
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment 
• Good English for documentation and technical communication

• Source, ingest, clean, and enrich external data streams 
• Build and manage vector search, embedding stores, and knowledge graphs 
• Explore and implement new ML/GenAI frameworks and multi-agent systems 
• Mentor developers and share knowledge across the team 

What We’re Looking For 

• Strong backend skills: Python, FastAPI, Webhooks, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD 
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI-family), LangChain/LangGraph/LangSmith, prompt engineering, RAG, vector stores (Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Neo4j, FAISS) 
• SQL, Pandas, Graph DBs (Neo4j), NetworkX, ETL/data cleaning, Kafka/Azure EventHub 
• Proven experience running RAG pipelines in production 
• Familiarity with graph algorithms (community detection, similarity, centrality) 
• Good English for documentation, API design, and teamwork 
• Startup drive, proactivity, independence 
• Willingness to relocate or travel within Europe; full-time availability
