    About Us

    We are a leading video streaming company operating multiple pay sites specializing in high-quality video streaming experiences. Our business revolves around managing and optimizing content across our paywalled sites, independent promotional sites, and advertising networks.

    We work with ElevatedX CMS, Wordpress, PHP-based template engines, Laravel and Python for backend automation tools, and various APIs for content, billing, and analytics. We need a highly motivated developer to help us maintain, enhance, and expand our platform.

     

    Who We Are Looking For

    We need a mid-level developer who is primarily frontend-focused but also has a solid understanding of PHP for backend support. You should be comfortable working with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP to convert designs into high-quality, responsive website templates. Experience with git is preferred. Some Python experience is a plus.

    You should be fast, detail-oriented, and able to work independently—capable of turning designs from Figma, wireframes, or verbal descriptions into polished, production-ready code.

    Additionally, while we don’t require full DevOps skills, you should understand deployment pipelines and be able to communicate effectively with our hosting provider for server-related requests.

     

    Your Role & Responsibilities

    • Convert Figma designs, wireframes, or sketches into production-ready HTML, CSS, and JavaScript templates for our CMS and standalone sites.
    • Work with ElevatedX CMS or other CMS like Wordpress to develop and maintain PHP-based templates, integrating dynamic content, JSON outputs, and site optimizations.
    • Develop SEO-friendly landing pages, promotional pages, and sales-driven content layouts.
    • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and speed optimization for all web properties.
    • Assist content curation and posting teams with CMS-related issues (e.g., transcoding videos, purging CDN caches, resolving duplicate content).
    • Implement tracking and analytics tools (Google Analytics, UTM parameters, Facebook Pixel, etc.) to monitor user engagement and ad performance.
    • Work on backend automation (e.g., Laravel-based tools to move files from Dropbox to local servers, generate reports, and interact with billing systems).
    • Maintain and troubleshoot third-party integrations, including Dropbox API, AWS SES & S3, NATS billing, and other REST APIs.
    • Deploy and maintain frontend and backend code, ensuring smooth integration with version control systems (Git).
    • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team for quick site updates, promotional offers, and other marketing-driven changes.
    • Handle SSL certificates, domain setups, and basic server configurations (with assistance from our hosting provider when needed).
    • Perform bug fixes and QA testing on reported site issues.

     

     

    Key Requirements

    ✅ Frontend Expertise

    • Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
    • Ability to create clean, modular, and maintainable code.
    • Proficiency in CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind) and writing custom styles efficiently.
    • Experience with JavaScript and jQuery (React/Vue is a bonus but not required).
    • Understanding of frontend performance optimizations (lazy loading, asset minification, etc.).

    ✅ PHP & Backend Knowledge

    • Comfortable with PHP, particularly in template-based systems (ElevatedX CMS, WordPress, etc.).
    • Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel is a plus, but not required).
    • Basic understanding of MySQL and ability to write/read database queries.
    • Ability to build or modify REST API integrations.
    • Experience with Git for version control and collaboration.
    • Basic familiarity with Python for scripting or backend tasks is preferred.

    ✅ Additional Useful Skills

    • Comfortable with Linux command-line operations (basic scripting, file transfers, log inspection, cron jobs).
    • Experience with Google Analytics, UTM tracking, and ad performance monitoring.
    • Knowledge of CDN caching, video streaming optimizations, and transcoding workflows.
    • Ability to troubleshoot server configurations, deployment pipelines, and SSL certificate renewals (not full DevOps, but able to communicate effectively with our hosting provider).
    • Familiarity with third-party APIs (AWS S3, NATS billing, Dropbox API).
