To help us build functional systems that improve the customer experience we are now looking for an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, and capable home-based 100% remote DevOps Engineer to our team. The candidate for this position must be flexible to take on various projects with a can-do attitude.

Objectives of this Role
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Deploy updates and fixes
- Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
- Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
- Perform root cause analysis for production errors
- Investigate and resolve technical issues
- Develop scripts to automate visualization
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Requirements:
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field (preferred, not mandatory)
- Experience with AWS infrastructures: VPC, EKS, RDS, EC2, ELB, S3, ElastiCache;
- Knowledge of Kubernetes core components, Dockers, and Helm;
- Infrastructure as code: Terraform
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Radis;
- Strong experience of administration linux distributions (Debian/Centos/Ubuntu/etc);
- Experience with monitoring systems: Prometheus stack;
- Ability to write complex scripts (shell/python);
- Experience with Gitlab CI/CD
- Understanding of: TCP / IP, DNS, Load-balancers, PKI / TLS / SSL, and network security.
