    Betinvest is an international product company in the sports technology sector. For over 20 years, we have been creating innovative solutions for the iGaming industry, with a focus on esports, fast sports, and AI-driven products.

    Currently, we’re expanding our analytics team and are looking for a Data Scientist / ML Engineer to help us develop, improve, and fine-tune mathematical models for our products.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and optimize mathematical and machine learning models for forecasting and analytics.
    • Prepare, process, and analyze large datasets.
    • Collaborate with analysts, developers, and sports experts to create models that enhance prediction accuracy.
    • Test, validate, and improve ML models based on performance results.

       

    What We Expect

    • Proficiency in Python.
    • Experience with pandas and scikit-learn libraries.
    • Understanding of core machine learning concepts, including:
       
      • Ensemble algorithms (Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, XGBoost, CatBoost);
      • Regularization methods (L1, L2, Dropout);
      • Stratification and cross-validation.
    • Experience with TensorFlow and TensorFlow Probability (including fully connected (MLP) architectures).
    • Understanding of common training challenges — vanishing/exploding gradients, overfitting.
    • Solid knowledge of linear algebra, discrete mathematics, and statistics.
    • English — Intermediate (B1+) level or higher.
