Beetroot is a cozy Swedish IT business with 500+ specialists in the cities of Ukraine, Sweden, Bulgaria and Poland engaged in turnkey development, creating dedicated teams for customers from around the world.

It was founded in 2012 as a diploma project by two graduates of the University of Gothenburg: young entrepreneurs Andreas Flodstrom and Gustav Henman.
In addition to the IT business of the same name, the Beetroot ecosystem also includes the Beetroot Academy and the Beetroot Hub technology space.All ecosystem parts are independent projects, united by a common mission and values.

    Our client’s team is dedicated to providing high levels of customer care, consistent and highly available service, and enabling the delivery of solutions to a diverse range of consumers across the healthcare industry. They act as an AWS SME, providing guidance to customers on how best to leverage the extensive AWS portfolio of services.

     

    In this role, you will have the opportunity to bring your experience to provide compliance leadership and oversight for ensuring that the platforms meet their regulatory obligations when delivering services to a broad customer base.

     

    You will act as an SME; collaborate across stakeholders, including business owners and technical teams, to guide and influence the adoption of compliance mindset. This role requires excellent communication skills, and the passion and knowledge for enabling risk and compliance-based decision-making.

     

    What you'll do in this role  

    • Apply comprehensive understanding of the relevant regulatory requirements to the delivery of technical solutions and services to a global audience, including both external and internal customers. The candidate will be able to show subject matter expertise that includes specific compliance areas such as SaMD (Software as Medical Device) and HIPAA. 
    • Define and drive audit processes and the effective response to findings including the agreement of CAPAs (Corrective Action, Preventative Action) where required. 
    • Develop, conduct, and/or support organization-wide training sessions, workshops, and knowledge sharing sessions to enhance the skills and capabilities of software development teams on compliance practices. 
    • Responsible for the strategy to deliver compliant services and solutions, including working directly with the technical lead for qualified infrastructure to build in compliance at the foundational level. 
    • Maintain an awareness of compliance issues, changes, developments externally that may inform strategy or drive required change. 
    • Foster cross team and organizational relationships with an ability to lead in or act as a contributor in very large scale efforts.
    • Establish a close relationship with compliance partners across the organization to both provide the division context and to be aware of the broader company compliance landscape. 
    • Provide input to senior management decisions that may have an impact on business direction within the Business Unit. 
    • Engage with technical and non-technical teams to provide practical compliance guidance, allowing successful outcomes to be delivered at pace but without risk. 
    • Act as a promoter for a compliance mindset across the organization to help the organization maintain compliance and build solutions in a compliance aware way.


    We're looking for

    • Comprehensive knowledge of quality and compliance principles with 7+ years of experience in an enterprise compliance setting, preferably in a highly regulated industry such as banking/financial or healthcare/pharmaceutical. 
    • 4+ years of compliance experience gained specifically in the IT delivery domain. 
    • Strong general IT knowledge, including an understanding of large-scale distributed systems architectures. 
    • Strong communicative skills and the ability to simplify complex details into business operational terms in an international environment. 
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Should be able to establish productive relationships, influence outcomes and articulate effectively to a broad range of audiences. 
    • Professional skepticism and critical thinking when the situation demands it whilst maintaining effective relationships.
    • At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English knowledge.
