We’re looking for a hands-on Tech Lead to join our Barcelona-based engineering team and help scale our platform for millions of users managing metabolic health conditions like PCOS, diabetes, and IBS.

This is a 80/20 technical/leadership role, ideal for a senior engineer who wants to stay deeply involved in code while building and leading a high-performing team. You’ll be responsible for our entire backend architecture, DevOps infrastructure, and day-to-day delivery operations.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Product and Head of Marketing to build rapid prototypes, ship production-grade features, and lay the groundwork for a world-class developer culture.
You will be the owner of the success of product features - you’ll work with your product counterparts to ensure that the requirements are clear and then follow up with owning the feature delivery end-to-end.

Qualifications

Required

• 6+ years of full-stack or backend engineering experience, with expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Solid command of frontend and mobile development, including React, React Native, and the Expo framework—able to build and ship features across the full stack.
• Ability to write production code, review pull requests, and build rapid prototypes for testing ideas or validating demand.
• Comfortable managing both local and remote engineers, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of DevOps and cloud infrastructure, including GCP, Redis, CI/CD (GitLab preferred), and monitoring (Grafana).
• Proven experience with complete ownership of feature delivery, including experience leading agile processes (standups, retros, sprint planning) and ensuring predictable, on time, on scope delivery.
• Hands-on experience setting up test frameworks and building test coverage from 0 to 1.
• Proficiency with analytics and instrumentation tools, including Amplitude, GA4, and basic data debugging.
• Very good communication skills in English, both written and in person - be able to explain a problem or challenge to a stakeholder over a call, or through slack - and ensure that you have a resolution.

• Experience with healthcare, wearables, or chronic condition platforms.
• Prior experience introducing AI tools for engineering velocity (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, codegen pipelines).
• Strong product instincts or prior experience collaborating closely with high-performing product managers—able to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and think critically about tradeoffs.
• Track record of growing into leadership roles in early-stage companies.
• Passion for building solutions that help people manage chronic health conditions using real-time data.

Job Details

We're looking for a customer-obsessed Product Manager to lead and own our iOS and Android apps end-to-end. You’ll drive engagement and enhance user value across our mobile applications. You'll deeply understand user behaviors and needs, translate insights into impactful mobile features, and iteratively optimize user experiences through analytics and rapid experimentation.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, design, and data teams to ensure our mobile apps are intuitive, engaging, and aligned with our mission of empowering users to manage and improve their metabolic health. You will do this by crafting and executing on a mobile product vision that is aligned with the company OKRs. Think of yourself as the mini-CEO for our mobile product, delivering outstanding user experiences and measurable business results.

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who is analytical, a great communicator, technically inclined and has an extreme sense of ownership.

Qualifications

Required

• Proven owner mentality - able to speak about all aspects of previous projects - how decisions were made, what worked well, what didn’t and why.
• Demonstrated passion for creating exceptional user experiences, with a strong customer-first mindset.
• Track record of making decisions based on data, and creating an organization that relies on that data. You should be highly analytical, able to translate data into actionable insights for improving mobile app experiences. We measure everything, you should be ready to do that as well!
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with design, engineering, and data teams.
• Strong communication skills—able to clearly articulate user needs, product ideas, and feature requirements.
• US-market fluency—shipped products for US consumers and worked inside US-centric teams.
• Exceptional written & verbal English — able to share sample PRDs (or create mock ones) that are crisp, thorough, inspiring.
• Customer obsession - You will be speaking with customers regularly, you should feel excited about learning from our users to improve the product!
• Technical aptitude: comfortable engaging with engineers, designers, and analytics tools.
• Familiarity with Agile workflows and tools such as Scrum and Jira

The Role

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our growing QA team and help ensure the quality of our mobile (iOS, Android) and web platforms. You’ll be responsible for testing new features, validating integrations, and running regression passes across staging and production-like environments.

This role is hands-on with end-to-end functional testing, UI/UX validation, and API testing. You’ll work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to spot issues early, provide clear bug reports, and help maintain high product quality.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual functional, regression, exploratory, and acceptance testing across web and mobile apps
• Perform API testing and validation using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar
• Test third-party integrations (e.g., payments, notifications, analytics, or communication services)
• Collaborate with product & engineering teams to review requirements, designs, and acceptance criteria
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases and checklists in the test management system
• Log clear and reproducible bug reports with screenshots, logs, or recordings
• Support QA team by performing smoke and regression testing before releases and hotfixes
• Work with automation QA engineers to identify test cases suitable for automation
• Contribute to QA process improvements, regression scope definition, and documentation

Ideal Candidate

• 2–3 years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer (mobile + web testing)
• Experience testing mobile apps (iOS & Android) and web platforms
• Familiar with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, Insomnia, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle
• Skilled at writing test cases, regression checklists, and bug reports
• Experience with test management tools (Jira RTM, TestRail, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to think like an end-user
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Effective communicator — able to explain issues clearly to technical and non-technical teammates
