We are looking for a Senior Backend Magento 2 Developer who is passionate about building scalable, high-performance ecommerce solutions and delivering clean, maintainable code.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Magento 2 backend solutions
• Customize Magento 2 core and extend functionality through custom modules
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security of Magento-based applications
• Integrate third-party systems such as payment gateways, shipping providers, ERPs, CRMs, and other APIs
• Troubleshoot and debug backend issues across staging and production environments
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decisions
• Mentor and support other developers within the team
• Stay current with Magento ecosystem updates, security patches, and best practices
   

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Magento 2 backend development (Magento 1 experience — a plus)
• Strong proficiency in PHP 7+, Magento 2 architecture (MVVM), and custom module development
• In-depth experience with MySQL, REST/GraphQL APIs, and integration with third-party systems
• Experience working with Composer, Redis, Varnish, Elasticsearch, and RabbitMQ
• Proficiency in Git, Docker, and working with CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, PSR standards, and SOLID principles
• Upper-Intermediate English (spoken and written)
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
