About us

We build AI that runs a restaurant’s delivery business.

Most restaurants now make a serious part of their money through delivery platforms, and almost nobody is really managing that side of things. Menus drift out of date, stores sit closed while the kitchen is open, and problems surface a week later in a report, if they surface at all. Our product watches all of it, works out what is costing the restaurant money, and tells the owner what to do about it. More and more, it just does it.

Real customers run their business on this every day. It keeps us honest: when we get something wrong, somebody feels it the same evening.

Small team, everyone owns what they build. Remote first. Our own product, built for the long term, no client work.

What you’ll do

• Build product features end to end: React on the front, Node on the back, all the way into production.
• Turn vague asks into decisions. Clarify the problem, cut the scope, pick the fix.
• Write the tech design for what you build.
• Work with delivery platform integrations and their APIs.
• Deploy and run your own services on GCP.

• Direct agents. Claude Code, Codex and Cursor do the typing. You do the thinking, the review and the verification.

What we expect

• 3+ years of commercial fullstack work: React, Node.js and PostgreSQL in production.
• You already work AI first. This is not something we will train you into. We need a year or more of daily, hands on work with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar. You set the context, you review every line, you own the result.
• You have shipped things real users depend on, and you were around when they broke.
• Production experience in the cloud, GCP preferred, and enough DevOps to deploy and debug what you build.
• You can get from a business problem to a product decision instead of implementing the ticket literally.

• English B2+ and clear writing. Most of our decisions happen in text.

What matters more than years on a CV

• You finish things. Given a task with rough edges, you close the gaps and deliver, instead of handing it back with questions attached.
• You ask early and precisely. A question at hour two costs five minutes. The same question on day four costs a day.
• You know when to push back and when to commit. If something is genuinely wrong, say so clearly, once. Then we decide and you run with it.

• You automate your own work. If you have done something by hand more than twice, we expect you to automate it rather than get faster at it.

Nice to have

• GraphQL in production
• Terraform or another infrastructure as code tool
• Food tech, delivery or POS
• Your own agents, MCP servers or dev automations

• React Native

How we work

Small team, very little process, short loops. Two week sprints. Agentic engineering is the standard here rather than an experiment, which makes sense given what we build.

Engineers sit close to the product. You will talk to support sometimes, and you take your own features through QA and release yourself. Reliability matters more than speed on anything that touches orders, and you own what you ship.

You will get through more work here in a quarter than in a year at most places. Nothing waits on a committee, and the agents handle the typing, so the hard part of the day is judgment rather than boilerplate.

Remote first.

Good fit if you want real ownership, fast feedback, and visible impact on something people use to run their business every day.

Hard fit if you want a narrow scope, a calm pace, or a lot of process between you and production.

About the Project

We are a product-driven company building a live commercial product with real users in a high-load environment.
The platform is actively growing — new features, scaling challenges, and architectural evolution.

We are looking for a Senior Python Full-Stack Engineer with strong backend and system design expertise who can take ownership of complex technical decisions and contribute to architectural evolution.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services
• Participate in architectural decisions
• Improve system performance and scalability
• Optimize database queries and indexing strategies
• Ensure data consistency across services
• Contribute to distributed system design decisions
• Review code and mentor engineers

• Work closely with product and engineering teams

Must-Have Requirements

• 6+ years of commercial software development
• Strong Python expertise (production-level experience)
• Deep experience with Django / FastAPI / Flask
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Experience designing scalable REST APIs
• Solid understanding of:
  • Database indexing strategies (B-tree, Hash, Composite)
  • Query optimization & profiling (EXPLAIN, performance tuning)
  • Transactions & data consistency
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts:
  • Data consistency
  • Event-driven communication
  • Replication strategies
• Experience with background processing (Celery, async workers)
• Docker & Git

• Production-level experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

Strong Plus

• Experience with:

  • Distributed transactions (Saga pattern, eventual consistency)
  • Message brokers (Kafka / SQS / SNS / RabbitMQ)
  • High-load systems
  • Database scaling (replication, sharding, read replicas)
  • Observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • CI/CD pipelines

  Frontend

• Experience with React (Next.js is a plus)
• Understanding of frontend-backend integration
• Ability to contribute to frontend architecture when needed

What We Offer

• Competitive compensation
• Fully remote
• Working hours: Mon–Fri 16:00–00:00 (UTC+X)
• Direct impact on architecture and product decisions
• Long-term collaboration

Loankea is a US mortgage lender. We build and run our own software: a workspace for our staff and a portal where borrowers apply and follow their case. Both are in production and used every day.

You would be the second engineer on this codebase, working directly with the person who built it, and you would carry a task from the issue to production yourself.

Besides the product itself, you would build internal tools and automations for the team, including AI agents for specific business processes.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable with both backend and frontend development, uses AI tools daily, and is accountable for every line they submit, whether they or an agent wrote it.

Requirements

• 1+ year of commercial development experience

• C# and .NET: async, LINQ, dependency injection

• React and TypeScript

• PostgreSQL or another relational database

• AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or similar

• Comfortable working in an existing codebase and following the conventions already in place

• Writing tests and debugging

• English B1+

Main Stack

• Backend: C#, .NET 10, GraphQL (HotChocolate), EF Core, PostgreSQL, Azure

• Frontend: TypeScript, React 19, Apollo Client, Vite, Tailwind CSS, Radix UI

• Testing: xUnit, Vitest, Testing Library, Testcontainers

• Tools: Git, GitHub Actions, Docker

• AI: Claude Code

GraphQL is a plus, not a requirement. It runs through the whole stack here, and if you have not used it, we will teach you.

B2B, remote, US Eastern Time clients), 2 calls per week with the team.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer who combines strong hands-on engineering, enterprise infrastructure expertise, and executive presence.

You will work directly with US-based mid-market and enterprise clients, understand complex business problems, design the technical solution, build and deploy it, integrate it into existing enterprise environments, and remain the trusted technical point of contact.

This is not a ticket-based engineering role. You will own the full journey:

Business Problem → Architecture → Build → Integration → Deployment → Client Outcome

What You'll Do

• Own client projects end-to-end with minimal handholding
• Turn ambiguous business problems into technical solutions
• Design and build production AI agents, applications, automations, integrations, and data pipelines
• Work with complex enterprise infrastructure, ERP systems, data warehouses, APIs, and cloud environments
• Make architecture and infrastructure decisions independently
• Use AI coding tools to build and ship quickly
• Work directly with client IT teams and senior stakeholders
• Lead client meetings and clearly explain technical decisions, progress, risks, and next steps

What We're Looking For

Strong Engineering & Architecture

• Approximately 7–12+ years of software engineering experience; flexible for exceptional candidates
• Strong hands-on development experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and Python
• Experience with technologies such as Next.js, PostgreSQL, Supabase, and APIs
• Ability to independently design system architecture and ship production software
• Former CTOs, Tech Leads, architects, founders, and consultants are welcome if they are still hands-on

Enterprise Infrastructure

Strong enterprise infrastructure experience is a key requirement.

You should have experience with:

• AWS, Azure and/or GCP
• ERP systems and enterprise integrations
• Data warehouses and data pipelines
• Microsoft/enterprise environments
• Authentication, security, and APIs
• Complex or legacy enterprise systems

You should be able to confidently discuss architecture and infrastructure with a client's IT team. This was explicitly highlighted by the hiring manager as increasingly important.

AI-Native Engineering

You should already use tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar agentic coding tools as part of your normal development workflow.

Production experience with several of the following is expected:

LLM APIs · AI Agents · RAG · Vector Databases · MCP · Agent Frameworks · AI Automations

We care especially about how you work with AI—context, documentation, agents/sub-agents, code review, testing, and QA.

Executive Presence

This is a highly client-facing position.

You must have:

• Excellent spoken and written English
• Strong confidence and executive presence
• Experience communicating with senior client stakeholders
• Ability to explain complex technical topics in business language
• Confidence leading meetings with executives, operations teams, and enterprise IT
• Ability to become a trusted technical advisor rather than relying on someone else to manage the client relationship

The client specifically wants engineers who can independently represent the technical work in senior stakeholder meetings.

You're a Strong Fit If

You are a hands-on senior engineer who thinks like an architect, operates like an owner, and communicates like a consultant.

You don't wait for detailed specifications. You can understand the business problem, decide what should be built, build it, integrate it into a complex enterprise environment, and confidently present the result to the client.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Platform Developer to join our Engineering team, focusing on database architecture, data transformation, workflow automation, and AI integration. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining the data infrastructure and automated systems that power our internal and client-facing products. This role requires deep backend expertise combined with a strong automation and AI mindset, and the ability to own systems end-to-end in a fast-moving, small team environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following minimum experience standards:

• Node.js Backend: 5+ years of professional experience building scalable backend services, with strong command of asynchronous programming, data pipelines, and complex business logic.
• Database Architecture: Strong working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL), including schema design, indexing, query optimization, and data modeling for high-volume transformations.
• Data Transformation: Experience designing and maintaining ETL or data transformation pipelines — cleaning, normalizing, and routing data across systems.
• Automation Expertise: 1+ years of hands-on experience with workflow automation platforms such as n8n (preferred), Make.com, or Zapier, including writing custom code nodes and managing multi-step workflows.
• AI Integration: Experience integrating LLMs (e.g., OpenAI API, Gemini, Claude) into backend workflows, including prompt engineering, structured output handling, and building AI-augmented pipelines.
• API Integration: Solid command of integrating third-party REST/GraphQL APIs, handling authentication (OAuth2, API Keys), and managing rate limits and error recovery.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining backend services on DigitalOcean and/or Google Cloud Platform, including working with managed databases and containerized environments (Docker).
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git and familiarity with CI/CD workflows.
• Claude Code/Codex: Advanced experience.

Plus Skills

Experience in any of the following areas is a significant advantage:

• Python: Willingness and ability to write Python scripts where needed for data processing, ML tooling, or integrations that lack Node.js support.
• Advanced AI Workflows: Familiarity with LangChain, vector databases (RAG), or multi-agent orchestration patterns.
• Frontend Exposure: Working knowledge of React or Next.js to build lightweight internal dashboards or tooling interfaces.
• Technical SEO: Understanding of SEO data metrics (Volume, KD, CPC) and content performance signals — useful for engineering logic behind data-driven content systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Database Architecture: Design, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL schemas to support data transformation workflows, session management, and reporting needs.
• Data Transformation: Build reliable pipelines that ingest, clean, transform, and route data between internal systems and third-party APIs.
• Automation Development: Build and maintain automation workflows in n8n and Node.js — including custom logic nodes, error handling, and retry strategies.
• AI Integration: Implement LLM-powered features into backend pipelines, including prompt design, structured JSON output parsing, and model orchestration.
• API Ecosystem Management: Integrate and maintain connections with tools such as Slack, Google Drive, Google Analytics, and other data sources and destinations.
• System Reliability: Monitor, debug, and improve the reliability of automated systems — handling edge cases like API timeouts, context window limits, and malformed data.
• Cloud Operations: Deploy and manage backend services on DigitalOcean and Google Cloud, including scaling, environment configuration, and uptime.
• Documentation: Maintain clear technical documentation for data models, automation architectures, and API integrations to support team knowledge sharing.
