Key Responsibilities:

• Implement advanced inference optimizations (speculative decoding, quantization, attention modifications, etc.) to maximize mining weight — techniques already proven to achieve double weight with identical GPUs by other participants
• Fine-tune Docker configurations for various GPU models based on available registry
• Develop custom optimization strategies that balance throughput and quality
• Create and maintain custom Docker images optimized for specific GPU architectures
• Design and implement systems for stable and scalable mining of Gonka and other protocols
• Develop optimized images for Tenstorrent AI ASICs to expand our hardware ecosystem beyond current GPU deployment
• Migrate Python code and VLLM implementations to new VLLM images and adapt them for specific GPU cards
   

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience with large language model optimization techniques
• Strong understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms

About the Project

About the role

Our client is private equity investor backing growth-stage software companies. Their portfolio companies have strong product-market fit but, being young, lack consistent commercial KPI definitions — so there is no clear, comparable view of performance. This hands-on interim role brings standardized, board-grade commercial reporting into these companies one at a time, starting with ARR and "snowball" analytics, until the reporting is built, trusted, and handed over.

What you'll do

• One company at a time. Embed with a portfolio company and take it through the data maturity curve; each company is a discrete project, worked back-to-back with the next.
• Build the numbers. Create unified commercial reporting from the ground up, starting with ARR and snowball analysis (New, Upsell, Downsell, Churn) to give leadership an accurate view of performance.
• Find the truth. Work out who to ask and where the data lives; partner directly with the CFO or C-1 level and the company's data team where one exists.
• Get it right. Pull together, clean and reconcile data from disparate systems (billing, general ledger, contracts, CRM) into a single source of truth reconciled to the finance ledger — accuracy is the most important outcome.
• Hand over. Once built and validated, transfer ownership to the portfolio company and move to the next project.

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer who will own and shape the data infrastructure that powers every analytical and AI-driven decision at Promova.

In this role, you’ll build a reliable, scalable data platform — not dashboards or one-off reports, but the foundation that lets anyone in the organization get answers on their own, with the help of AI agents and without waiting on a middleman.

Clean, well-documented, trustworthy data is the product. You will own it end to end: from raw source intake to the final datasets that power marketing, product, and business decisions at scale.

What We’re Looking For
Core experience:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data infrastructure role.
• Strong SQL proficiency and practical experience working with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery preferred).
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and layered data warehouse architecture (raw → stage → final).
• Hands-on experience with pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, MWAA, or Cloud Functions): task dependencies, error handling, retry logic, failure recovery.
• Solid understanding of data quality practices: validation, NULL/duplicate handling, freshness and consistency monitoring.

Bonus points:

• Experience in subscription-based products (web and/or mobile).

What You Will Do

• Develop and optimize the data warehouse (BigQuery): design and maintain the raw → stage → final layer architecture.
• Connect and integrate new data sources: product, payment, marketing, internal services — into a unified pipeline.
• Orchestrate and ensure pipeline reliability: manage task dependencies, error handling, retry logic, and recovery from failures.
• Maintain data quality: build validation checks, handle NULLs and duplicates, monitor freshness and consistency.
• Prepare data as a product for AI agents: clean, documented, predictable datasets that can be trusted without manual verification.

The Reporting Team is responsible for the development, enhancement, and maintenance of a robust reporting system used by mobile dealers across our network. This system provides critical insights into business performance, customer behavior, and operational trends. Our primary users include store managers, dealer operators, and sales teams who rely on accurate, timely, and actionable data to make informed decisions that drive sales and improve customer service. 

In addition to standard reports, the team designs and delivers a variety of dynamic dashboards tailored to di        erent user roles. These dashboards help visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), track sales trends, monitor inventory, and identify growth opportunities within retail locations. 

Our work involves deep collaboration with cross-functional teams, significant data analysis, and strong attention to data quality and performance. Business Analyst – Reporting Team 

Overview: 

We are seeking a technical Business Analyst to join the Reporting Team, which is responsible for building and maintaining a data-centric reporting system and interactive dashboards used by mobile dealers and store managers. This role requires a strong understanding of data systems and the ability to translate business needs into scalable, data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working closely with developers, data engineers, and stakeholders to design and deliver impactful reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements for reporting features, KPIs, and dashboards. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders (internal teams and dealer-facing users) to understand reporting needs and define user stories, acceptance criteria, and data logic. 
• Analyze data models and complex SQL Server datasets to support data mapping and transformation specifications. 
• Partner with developers to define backend data flows using REST APIs, RabbitMQ, and scheduled background jobs (via Hangfire). 
• Collaborate with frontend engineers (React + MUI) to define reporting UX behavior and ensure that interfaces support user workflows. 
• Review and interpret data from message queues, APIs, and backend services built on ASP.NET Framework and .NET Core. 
• Contribute to the design and validation of data pipelines and reporting logic by ensuring alignment with business goals. 
• Maintain high-quality documentation (data dictionaries, process diagrams, functional specs) to support ongoing reporting enhancements. 

Technical Requirements: 

• Strong proficiency in SQL Server – ability to write and understand complex queries, analyze stored procedures, and interpret relational data models. 
• Experience working with modern web applications – understanding of web application architecture, client-server communication, authentication and authorization concepts, browser behavior, and responsive user interfaces. Ability to analyze end-to-end user flows.
• Experience with REST APIs – understanding endpoints, payloads, authentication, and response structures. 
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ and Hangfire for understanding asynchronous data flows and background processing patterns. 
• Working knowledge of backend technologies (ASP.NET Framework / .NET Core) and how services interact in layered architectures. 
• Awareness of ReactJS and modern frontend design using MUI (Material UI), particularly for data presentation and filtering. 
• Understanding of data warehouse (DWH) and data lake concepts – ability to work with structured and semi-structured data models and understand the data lifecycle from ingestion to reporting. 
• Experience with BI/reporting systems (e.g., internal dashboards, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus. 
• Ability to read logs, API responses, and system behaviors to support root cause identification in collaboration with the technical team. 
• Familiarity with tools like Postman for reviewing API behaviors is a plus. 

Other Requirements: 

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in data-centric or reporting-focused software development projects.
