• Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with geophysicists, data scientists, and software engineers to translate scientific domain requirements into robust on-prem or Cloud software

  • Present architectural designs and technical proposals to the architecture review board.

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer / TL with strong Java backend development experience, deep database knowledge, and hands-on experience building modern cloud-based applications.
This role is focused on new product development, backend  architecture, database performance, containerized deployments, and reliable cloud-native software engineering. The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor with excellent analytical skills, practical experience with enterprise-grade backend systems, and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
