Stack: Go 1.26, PostgreSQL (pgx), Redis (caching, distributed locks), gorilla/mux, JWT auth, Stripe SDK, Squirrel query builder, Goose migrations, Docker/Docker Compose, AWS SDK. Deployed via Docker containers; tests run in CI via GitHub Actions.

You'll work directly with our frontend developer on a small, fast-moving team: no bureaucracy, no lengthy approval chains, just building.

Your future responsibilities:

• Own the architecture of the authorization platform end-to-end — from design through production operations
• Design and implement sidecar-based authorization mechanisms and policy enforcement engines
• Define authorization models (RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC) and translate business requirements into enforceable policies
• Drive technical decisions on authorization infrastructure — evaluate, select, and integrate tools (OpenFGA, OPA, SpiceDB, etc.)
• Design token exchange and delegation flows (OAuth 2.0 OBO, Keycloak token exchange) for multi-service authorization
• Collaborate with platform, security, and product teams to define access control policies and architectural standards

Our customer is a global science and technology company operating across Healthcare, Life Science, and Electronics industries. Project

You will join a Global Identity & Access Management team working on a new self-hosted SCIM platform. The project focuses on building scalable identity provisioning and integration solutions within complex enterprise environments.

The role combines backend engineering, Kubernetes-based deployments, and platform engineering practices. You will collaborate with experienced software and DevOps engineers to design, develop, and evolve modern IAM services and integrations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Go (Golang)
• Experience developing and supporting Kubernetes-based applications
• Strong understanding of cloud-native and containerized environments
• Experience working in enterprise systems with multiple integrations

You’ll join the Billing team and take ownership of the Taxes module — a core part of our billing system responsible for tax calculation and reporting across multiple locations.

The product has already moved beyond MVP and is actively used by customers. The foundational logic is in place, demand is high, and the next step is scaling functionality and reliability.

This role is exciting because you’re not maintaining legacy code — you’re building and shaping a critical system almost from scratch.
You will have a clear path to Lead: full ownership of the Taxes direction, architectural decisions, and growing a team around it.
