    We are currently looking for a Senior Systems/Business Analyst who can act as an internal proxy product owner for a scrum team in the ongoing development of a high-volume payment system.
     

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyze business requirements and develop detailed system requirements for new functionality
    • Create detailed system requirements, analyzing workflows, describing system models and business processes with stakeholders; compile and document system requirements in the form of use cases/user stories/diagrams and models
    • Participate in the creation and clarification of business and stakeholder requirements supporting stakeholders
    • Decompose system requirements into development tasks, set priorities, and control deadlines
    • Describe APIs and protocols, and implement tasks with third-party services
    • Collect information and solve problems, even without documentation
    • Together with a system architect define approaches to performance/throughput/security problem-solving
    • Be responsible for requirements management, write, maintain, and approve documentation
    • Set tasks in Jira, be in charge of product backlog, define dependencies between tasks and coordinate development with the team
    • Collect, process, and analyze internal users feedback, and provide training, if needed
    • Improve existing algorithms and logic
    • Documentation, preparation of user manuals, release notes, tutorials
       

    Requirements:

    • Over 3 years of experience as a Systems Analyst in domains - Payment Systems,  Payment gateways/payment aggregators, Card or Crypto processors, Trading systems or Core Banking systems;
    • Extensive experience in preparing high-quality system analysis artifacts - logical system architecture, flow diagrams (flowchart or/and BPMN or/and UML), sequence diagrams, user stories/use cases, GUI Mockup flows/wireframes, Data Models, Data dictionaries;
    • Extensive experience with REST/SOAP APIs and service oriented applications;
    • Attention to detail is a must, high communication skills, abstract thinking, ability to identify non-obvious scenarios and β€œbottlenecks” in the proposed solution;
    • A clear understanding of the principles and specifics of developing and implementing software products, practical experience working within the agile project management frameworks, namely - Scrum will be a big plus;
    • Skilled in writing functional, business, and technical documentation;
    • Relational database design knowledge (you won’t need to query complex data with SQL, but you need to have solid understanding of SQL DBs);
    • Experienced in setting and controlling metrics;
    • Fluent in Ukrainian/Russian language and at least Intermediate in English (all requirements documents must be written in English).
