NovaCore is looking for a PHP Backend Developer to work on web platforms, APIs, integrations, internal systems, and scalable business applications.
The project is a platform for managing subscriptions, invoices, recurring payments, pricing plans, and customer billing history. PHP and Laravel are used to implement billing workflows, payment provider integrations, webhooks, background jobs, and financial reporting. The system processes subscription changes, payment retries, refunds, promotional discounts, and account notifications. The team is currently improving payment reliability, adding new billing models, and integrating additional payment providers.
 

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial PHP development experience.
• Strong knowledge of PHP 8+.
• Experience with Laravel or Symfony.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of OOP and SOLID principles.
• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of ORM tools such as Eloquent or Doctrine.
• Understanding of authentication and application security.
• Experience with Git.
• English level B1+.
   

Nice to have

• Experience with Redis and background jobs.
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD.
• Experience with PHPUnit or Pest.
• Familiarity with microservices.
• Experience with AWS or another cloud platform.
   

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using PHP.

• Work with databases and optimize SQL queries.

• Implement queues and background processing.

We're hiring on behalf of a well-established, globally operating fintech company seeking a talented PHP Developer / Technical Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, you'll contribute to both new and existing projects, playing a key part in the development and maintenance of a WooCommerce ecosystem and a Laravel-based CRM, while helping shape the company's technical roadmap.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress/WooCommerce plugins.
- Integrate payment providers, APIs, and webhooks.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, network, and server issues.
- Support and improve the Laravel CRM.
- Assist with deployments and AWS/VPS maintenance.
- Use AI coding tools where helpful, while reviewing, testing, and taking responsibility for the resulting code.

Requirements
- Good knowledge of PHP, OOP, WordPress, and WooCommerce.
- Experience with MySQL, Git, REST APIs, and webhooks.
- Basic Linux administration, HTTP, DNS, SSL/TLS, and web security knowledge.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- English: B2+.
