Our client is a lean, founder-led venture-building studio and family office running a portfolio of businesses across events, hospitality, luxury consumer, media, and investments. The company is building AI-first operating systems so a small team can run multiple businesses at once — removing repetitive admin, improving decision-making, and keeping headcount deliberately low. 

The studio needs one hands-on technical owner for AI and automation across the whole portfolio. Some automations already exist; the mandate is to take them over, rebuild what needs rebuilding, and own a clean, maintainable stack end to end. There is no technical manager above you — you work directly with the founder and the commercial lead, and the architecture decisions are yours.

What you'll work on

AI development & automation — 80%

• AI research agents: vendors, sponsors, guests, brands, venues, market opportunities
• Screening and scoring systems that combine scraped data with hard metrics and business criteria
• Inbox triage, summarisation, and routing; multi-inbox monitoring with decision-ready daily summaries
• Systems that turn unstructured founder inputs (screenshots, voice notes, links) into recommendations and routed tasks
• CRM and outreach workflows, dashboards and trackers, calendar and recurring-task automations

No one has built all of this — what matters is a track record with comparable use cases and the ability to transfer it to new problem types. Expect a fast cadence: first automation live within 30 days, several production workflows by 60–90 days.

Technical generalist — 20% (~1 day/week)

• Keep the operational stack running: Notion (incl. Notion AI), Google Workspace, HubSpot, access management, integrations, troubleshooting, data cleanup

Requirements

• Shipped production automations or AI-powered tools in a real business context — not side projects, demos, or hackathon builds
• Practical fluency with LLMs, APIs, and at least one automation platform (Make, n8n, Zapier, or similar)
• Python or equivalent scripting ability — many builds are achievable low-code, but candidates who can write and debug their own scripts have a higher ceiling
• Experience with vector search, RAG, agent frameworks, function calling, and workflow orchestration
• Ability to design workflows with human approval points, exception handling, logging, and error recovery — systems that fail gracefully and visibly, not silently
• Strong documentation habits — your systems must be maintainable and understandable by non-technical colleagues
• Comfort with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and working independently without full specs or a technical escalation path
• English sufficient for daily written and spoken communication (B2+)

Nice to have

• Experience building internal tools for executives, family offices, venture studios, agencies, or lean startups

Location requirements

• Fully remote, but your working day must overlap with UK time (GMT/BST) for 6–8 hours daily
• An additional ~2-hour overlap with Malaysia time (GMT+8) is a plus

Our client is a B2B SaaS platform operating at the intersection of data intelligence and LinkedIn advertising. The product is in active growth — the engineering team ships continuously, and feature velocity is high. The platform combines LinkedIn Ads optimization, website visitor identification, and revenue attribution in one decision layer — so marketers can see which companies engage with their ads, connect that activity to CRM data, and prove what actually drives deals.

The team is small and senior: a product manager, 3 backend engineers (PHP/Laravel), 1 frontend engineer (React), and 3 data engineers (Python, N8N), on AWS-managed infrastructure with Postgres and Clickhouse. The team works in sprints with sprint planning and retrospectives.

Why this role exists

Two gaps are holding the team back. First, the CTO is absorbing too much coordination overhead: breaking down requirements, running syncs, unblocking developers. Second, testing coverage hasn't kept pace with shipping speed — bugs that automated tests would have caught are slipping through to production.

This role is designed to close both gaps at once. The PM side frees up the CTO by owning task creation and team coordination. The QA side builds an automated testing layer from scratch, with AI tooling at its core. Neither half of this role is a full-time job on its own — together, they're exactly one.

What you'll own

Project management — primary focus

• Receive requirements from the CTO and convert them into detailed, developer-ready tasks and epics in ClickUp, following the company's established task framework
• Run sprint planning and retrospectives, keep the team unblocked, and handle routine coordination without escalating to the CTO
• Own documentation: maintain clear, up-to-date technical specs and requirement breakdowns
• Be the connective tissue between product intent and engineering execution — understand the business logic behind what's being built, not just the task list
• Track progress, flag risks early, and make sure work that gets decided actually gets finished

QA automation — secondary focus

• Build an automated QA framework from scratch — end-to-end, regression, and API testing; choose your own tools and programming language
• Triage and classify bugs by root cause (frontend vs. backend) before routing to developers
• Write test plans and document edge cases; build coverage that actually prevents regressions, not just documents them

Requirements

What we expect from an ideal candidate

• 3–5 years of total experience with at least 1.5 years in a project or product management role and at least 1.5 years in QA engineering
• At least 2 years of that experience must be at a product company
• Proven ability to break down product requirements into clear, structured technical tasks for a development team
• Experience running sprint planning and retrospectives, or working closely within that process
• Strong self-management and prioritization — able to hold multiple threads across PM and QA without dropping things or waiting to be told what's next
• Experience in QA engineering with a demonstrated shift toward automation — manual-only QA is not a fit for this role
• Solid understanding of regression testing and functional testing concepts
• Working knowledge of SQL sufficient to validate data at the database level (Postgres, Clickhouse a plus)
• Ability to distinguish frontend bugs from backend bugs quickly and describe them precisely
• You should be actively using AI tools to automate, build, and accelerate your own workflow
• English B1 or above — sufficient for written communication and technical documentation

The role

You'll own content at JetOctopus end to end. Not "write what you're told," but set the strategy, plan it, ship it, and answer for whether it moves the business.
 

Your main mission right now: maximum visibility for our site in both classic search and LLM answers. That means content written for how these systems find and cite sources, plus a presence beyond our own domain — Reddit, YouTube, third-party publications. You won't do all of that with your own hands; colleagues and freelancers will help in those channels. But the strategy that ties it together is yours.
 

The content itself is technical. We write about SEO for people who do SEO for a living, so you need to genuinely understand the field, not just the keywords.
 

What you'll actually do

• Set and own the content strategy, measured in business results
• Write for the blog, landing pages, and email newsletters (external writers can carry volume; the voice and the bar are yours)

About the role

The Legal Incorporation Lawyer will lead the legal groundwork for entity formation as Project N5 expands into new markets.
