Responsibilities

Provide engineering support in drilling and completions area to DWP team.

Provide an objective assessment of Product Quality

Contribute as an active Software Tester on the Team to deliver product stories

Develop Test Cases based on Test Objectives and Acceptance Criteria

Write comprehensive Test Cases to verify Product functionality

Contribute during Sprint Planning to ensure all Testing concerns are discussed and accommodated in the story sizing

Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define key End User Workflows

Define, create and maintain Test environments

Validate Functionality according to Requirements/Stories

Verify Development changes have no undesired effect on other, associated areas of Functionality

Identify, communicate and document Bugs in a consistent fashion

Track Bugs through resolution and implementation

Verify Bugs are resolved according to Bug Definition

Skills

Must have

· Bachelor or Master Degree from a recognized university in petroleum, Geophysics, Geology or chemical engineering with minimum GPA 7.5 and above

· Good understanding of upstream applications. (Preferred: EDT Applications)

· Knowledge of one or more of the basic wells engineering concepts including:

Well construction – drilling techniques, well control, fluids property management, drilling mechanics, performance monitoring

Well completions – completion designs, well performance analysis,

· Experience with engineering applications such as WellCat, Wellplan, Compass will be an advantage.

· Comfortable with Agile methodologies

· Excellent Communication Skills

Nice to have

Experience with web applications test automation, API testing, Performance testing, Azure\AWS cloud services

Your Core Responsibilities

1. QA Strategy & Leadership

• Define and implement the overall QA strategy, test plans, and methodologies for the entire project (Salesforce, MuleSoft, Genesys integrations).
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, promoting best practices in manual, automation, and performance testing.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Act as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters, providing clear status reports and metrics to stakeholders.

2. Test Design & Execution

• Design and oversee the creation of comprehensive test cases, test scripts, and test data for functional, regression, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Oversee the testing of complex MuleSoft integrations between Salesforce FSC and various systems, validating data integrity and flow.
• Ensure the quality of the contact center solution: testing call routing, IVR, screen pops, and data synchronization between Genesys and Salesforce.
• Implement and manage test automation frameworks for both the Salesforce and MuleSoft layers to maximize efficiency and regression coverage.

3. Process Improvement & Tooling

• Identify and implement the right tools for test automation, performance testing (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner), and API testing (e.g., Postman).
• Establish a robust defect tracking and management process, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues.
• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and methodologies, including integration with CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 4–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
• Proven, hands-on experience in testing Salesforce applications, including both standard and custom functionalities.
• Strong experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) and a deep understanding of MuleSoft APIs and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with contact center technologies, specifically testing of Genesys VoIT and/or Salesforce Service Cloud Voice.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Provar, Apex Test Classes).

About the role

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role:

Join us as a Senior Staff Validation Engineer to drive state-of-the-art automotive technologies, leveraging your embedded systems experience. You’ll lead validation projects and be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through testing and validation processes. You will collaborate closely with software development teams to design, execute, and automate tests, identify and document issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our PSoC and HMI solutions that shape next‑generation automotive products.

 

• Be responsible for the Validation of device drivers used for Communication or signal generation/measurements (E.g.: SPI, UART, PWM, ADC, DMA etc.)
• Investigate, implement, institutionalize and maintain the verification and validation methods and infrastructure (e.g. automation to improve quality and efficiency in terms of cost and time)
• Drive innovation in the form of new advancements (test methods/tools, test automation, test infrastructure)
• Institutionalize software test processes compliant with Automotive standards (e.g.ISO26262, ASPICE)
• Have ownership of reviews - Test Specifications & Scripts

• More than 3 years of experience in Device Driver software testing, which includes good knowledge of the standard software development Life Cycle
• Experience with AUTOSAR MCAL, Automotive SPIC, E and exposure to ISO26262
• Knowledge of embedded system software development or Validation using C and assembly languages
• Strong knowledge in OOP/C#/.Net/Python languages
• Experience in the development/maintenance of the test automation and continuous integration frameworks
• Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power benches, etc
• Fluency in English

What you’ll do

• Plan and execute test cycles for Android POS app versions: smoke, regression, and exploratory
• Verify releases end-to-end: changelog validation, build sanity, OTA/update flows, and final sign-off
• Perform ticket verification: reproduce, validate fixes, and close with clear evidence and test notes
• Test on physical POS devices (e.g., K6-class terminals): peripherals (printers, scanners, card readers), EMV/NFC, receipts
• Validate critical POS user flows: checkout, refunds/voids, settlements, offline/poor-network scenarios
• Manage device/OS matrix: Android versions, form factors, firmware, and compatibility impacts
• Design, author, and maintain high-quality test cases and edge-case scenarios for core flows
• Design and execute API tests for POS-related backend services: validate request/response payloads, error handling, and contracts that support mobile flows
• Capture diagnostics for defects: logs, screenshots, videos, ADB traces; provide precise repro steps
• Collaborate with engineering/product to define acceptance criteria and improve testability
• Track quality signals and risks; prioritize test coverage based on impact and usage

What you’ll bring

• Strong POS domain expertise: payments flows, EMV/contactless, peripherals, and store operations
• Hands-on experience testing Android apps on dedicated POS hardware
• Proven history executing version testing: feature, regression, and hotfix validation across releases
• Solid test case design skills (boundary, risk-based, negative paths) and meticulous documentation
• Proficiency with Android test tooling basics: ADB, logcat, device settings, and network conditioning
• Comfortable verifying tickets end-to-end: reproducing issues, validating fixes, and closing with evidence
• Attention to detail, ownership of release quality, and clear communication with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with test management tools like Testrail, practical API testing knowledge (e.g., REST/JSON, status codes, basic contract validation), and CI acceptance checks

Job Responsibilities

• Active collaboration with mentor
• Deep involvement in the commercial project workflow and practical tasks
• Test end-to-end complex embedded systems by analyzing automation test results, which are part of Continuous Integration (CI)
• Maintain test suites (CI) by adding new tests (Python) developed by other teams, and optimizing their structure to increase coverage
• Ramp up and maintain a shared pool of setups dedicated to the CI/CD activities

Broadband team works on 2nd generations of Harmonic (NASDAQ:HLIT) Cable Access products: actively developing the industry’s first software-based CCAP solution (“Cable OS”) and cloud native CMTS.

These solutions allow to cable operator companies to deliver the IP-based data, video, and voice services to millions of customers. Focus is given to CableOS which will allow to get rid of the existing HW equipment and to migrate to the cloud, saving customers the enormous expenses for the support of HW network equipment.
