Quality Assurance Engineer (offline)

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer for long-term contract work to join our distributed team. You will test software solutions for US clients under the direction of respective Product and Project Managers.

Potential candidates should have:
- 2+ year experience in software testing
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Understanding of work process client-server applications
- Experience of testing APIs using Postman
- Proficient in working with Jira
- Ideal candidate has an exceptional attention to details
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in developing quality test documentation
- Self-management skills
- English knowledge with excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate verbally is a must!

Responsibilities:
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Create tests to identify software problems
- Analyze bugs and errors found during tests
- Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify project requirements

Would be a plus:
- Knowledge of one of programming languages such as Java or JavaScript
- Understanding of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
