Lead/Senior DevOps Engineer (offline)

Technology stack:
Linux
Java; Tomcat
EBRC (VMWare Cloud Director), private cloud: VMWare vSphere
Docker
Ansible
Monit, Prometheus
HAProxy, Hashicorp Vault

Target to migrate:
- AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Config, Firewall manager) - migration started
- Kubernetes service

Important for this position/ useful experience:
- Cloud infrastructure planning, deployment and support
- Database (MySQL) administration, performance tuning
- *nix OS administration
- English level B2 (Upper Intermediate) or better

Additional experience/ knowledge as a plus:
- PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry) qualification and certification experience
- Hetzner, Strato experience
- Experience in transferring services to a cloud environment
- Understanding the importance of promoting CI / CD best practices and mentoring team members to embrace and adopt them

Immediate tasks in the project:
- Finalize migration to cloud
- Audit access permission and user roles
- Development support, troubleshooting, and maintenance
