Regular QA Automation Engineer (Java) (offline)

About the Project:

We're looking to test automation engineer to join the project we're doing for a world leader in energy business. The system we're working on helps to avoid sufficient accidents and blackouts in power grids across the world by quick localizing of potential instability issues and taking prompt action to avoid a wider disturbance in the grid.

Our perfect team member is a quick learner and proactive team player who can strengthen our delivery process by automation and who is ready to extend his/her experience in DevOps area (together with test automation activities).

Our team: Luxoft team consists of 11 people - developers, testers and PM in Kyiv. TL, DL and PM on client's side in Edinburgh, Scotland. Process is Scrum-based.
Responsibilities:
• Help develop and manage CI/CD pipelines
• Review the existed test automation framework and promote best practices
• Maintain and extend existed frameworks written on Java, Groovy
• Frontend and backend automated tests design, development and execution
• Bug reporting and verification
• Execute manual functional and regression testing if required
Mandatory Skills:
• Experience with Groovy or Java at least (2-3 years)
• Experience with work in DevOps environment (1-2 years)
• Experience with creation of test automation from scratch for API testing with SoapUI, Katalon etc.
• Experience of working or managing CI/CD (Jenkins pipeline)
• Experience with version control system Git and SVN
• Good analytical skills
• Interesting in growing in DevOps area
• Solid relevant experience in complex projects
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• English upper-intermediate
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Scripting ability — Powershell, Bash etc.
• Experience with infrastructure management tools (e.g. packer, puppet, chef)
• Experience with Data Driven Testing approach
• Experience with Junit/TestNG
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with implementation of automated testing for project and system via Selenium (WebDriver) or similar frameworks;
