The product is a microservice application which handles different parts of trade flow: confirmation, clearing and regulatory reporting services for trade connectivity and automation solutions, real-time business intelligence, trade affirmation, confirmation, clearing and reporting. Responsibilities:
Looking for an experienced professional responsible for design, development and maintenance of scalable automation framework across suite of multiple products and would like to switch to developer role in teh future. A programming experience in Java is mandatory. A good understanding of BDD and financial background is preferable as the individual will liaise with technology leads, development teams, Business Analysts, Product Development, Product Managers, Operations/Evaluators and application support teams.
Main activities:
• Design and write maintainable automated framework using Java, Cucumber, Cupress for sub-system testing.
• Look for ways to continuously improve system quality.
• Ability to deliver on personal, team and strategic objectives
• Provide guidance and support to less experienced staff.
Mandatory Skills:
Experience in automation testing (BE) of enterprise-level solutions: 4+ years - high
Java (core, streams): 4+ years - high
Cucumber, Cypress - high
Background in building Continuous Integration based frameworks with knowledge of Build Verification Testing & BDD concepts (Cucumber, Fitness etc): 2+ medium
Unix (SSH, trouble shooting): 1+
Background in API testing - REST (get/post): 2+ - medium
Selenium WebDriver, TestNg/Junit - high
XML (xpath, xslt), Regexp: Medium
Agile methodologies (Scrum/Sprint): Medium

• Very good communication skills - both verbal and written
• Experience working in R&D / Agile environments and with distributed teams
• Fluent English
• Ability and will to make decisions and prove and defend them
• Ability to document and communicate concepts at multiple levels
• Good analytical skills and readiness to perform alternatives analysis and to find the best possible option
• Quick learner, willingness to learn new technologies and to do research on your own
• Strong team player - ability to work in distributed teams, contribute to collaborative team success, treat team / product success as personal goal
• Result-oriented mindset
