Automation QA (C, C++ and/or Java) (offline)

Project Description:
Our client is a leading global Financial Markets data provider runs a number of programs to deliver of high-quality software that connects Financial Markets across the glob in a real-time, high frequency and low-latency data management chain.

The project considers improving automated testing around the existing trading platform to increase cohesiveness and coverage of tests as well as documenting the existing system in fine details, while developing critical knowledge about the system. As the new version of the system will be emerging, the team will be engaged into re-development of functionality.
Besides unit & component testing, overall system tests should be conducted in production with virtual autotrades to ensure all processes are up and running. That will covered under the project as well.
Responsibilities:
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
• Covering new feature and bug fixing development with automation testing to ensure stable release
• Identify opportunities for automation within software processes.
• Design and execute quality tests using scripts that automatically test functionality.
• Run tests for databases, systems, networks, applications, and software.
• Identify bugs and quality issues in development, service or business processes.
• Install and manage applications and databases relevant to automation.
• Test reports
• Creation and maintenance of a new ephemeral CI/CD infrastructure
• Creation of new automation tests using pipelines
• Creation of automated performance tests
• Creation of QA roadmaps with quarterly reviews
• Creation and support of test suites
• Creation and support of test documentation
Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years testing or other software development experience
• Selenium (version 2/3, Grid, Remote Control, Web driver)
• Knowledge of scripting languages
• Experience of formal software development life cycle, with a solid grasp of manual and automated software testing methodologies and tools
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box, black box, functional, stress and load testing of products
• Experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems
• Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of TCP/IP & UDP Multicast fundamentals and solving problems
• Experience altering code written in C, C++ and/or Java
• English at the level of Upper-Intermediate
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Jira, TestRail, Confluence
• Experience with testing in AWS, CI/CD
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
• Experience with encryption/decryption and proxy setup is a plus
• General protocol knowledge, knowledge of middleware and/or networking principles is a plus
