Middle Android Engineer (offline)

What you’ll be doing:
• Full product development lifecycle, from an idea to a major feature with further analysis;
• Support for current features;
• Working with Video, Image, Chat, Canvas drawing, AndroidX etc;
• You’ll be able to try new technologies on demand.

What we are using:
• Kotlin as is! We love Kotlin and 99% of our project is on Kotlin;
• Android Jetpack’s sweets. ViewModel, LiveData, Lifecycle and so on;
• ExoPlayer, Anko, Lottie, Google/Firebase/Huawei Services. This is all just the tip of the iceberg;
• A lot of A/B tests. You can fully control what you do. Moreover, you can deliver your ideas and test them.

What we expect from you:
• At least 2.5 years of Native Android development;
• At least 1.5 years developing with Kotlin;
• Mostly required skills: Android Jetpack, REST API, Google/Firebase Services, Kotlin (advanced), Kotlin Coroutines.
• You’re a team player.

Will be a plus:
• Knowledge of how CI works. Experience with Fastlane and Gitlab CI;
• Knowledge of Git Flow;
• Deep knowledge of FFMPEG, Exoplayer and related technologies.
