Project Manager (offline)

You will engage with experienced cross-disciplinary teams to design innovative consumer products. You should be comfortable working across different time zones and through ambiguity. You thrive through building consensus and driving multiple teams towards results. You will anticipate bottlenecks, assess risk, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. You should be able to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role.

The right candidate should possess proven project management skills in leading medium to large scale projects. You are expected to be versatile and able to thrive in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment. You can clearly & effectively communicate (written as well as verbally) across the org and up to senior leadership.

Responsibilities and Duties:

— Work with key stakeholders in executive teams, product management, and marketing teams to define strategy and requirements
— Work with remote and multi-site engineering teams to deliver supporting software and services in sync with launch timelines
— Communicate regularly to senior management on status, risks, and progress
— Stand with & defend your convictions as well as accept others’ point of views when needed
— Travel internationally

Qualifications and Skills:

— 3+ years of technical project/program management experience
— Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (EE, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering) or 3+ years of a Software Development/QA Engineer
— Understanding of different SDLC
— Understanding of distributed systems and how they are deployed
— Experience in defining projects, collecting requirements, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule and deploy new features sets
— Experience in delivering projects in multi-stakeholder environments
— Advanced level of English

Nice to have:

— Experience with Streaming of Audio/Video, awareness of WebRTC, RTP, SRTP, SIP terms
— Software or Hardware engineering background
— Leadership with superior analytical abilities
— Knowledge of AWS services
— Excellent written and verbal communication skills engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders
— Strong problem solving and negotiation skills to earn trust and influence partners and teams
— Fluency with Atlassian SCM Suite (Confluence/JIRA)
— Experience in productization and shipping of software products (Services or Consumer Electronics)
— Experience in analyzing cost/benefit of feature selection
