Regular Java/SQL Developer (late shift) (offline)

Project Description:
Our client is a UK subsidiary of a global financial house working in multiple markets and asset classes.
We are currently expanding a small change team for a range of client J2EE applications for USA market.
Successful candidate will join a group of 3 people working flexible hours covering jointly the time range from 10 to 22 Kyiv time.
Technologies used: Java/J2EE, JMS/JFS, Oracle/SQL, Unix Shell/Windows Batch/Perl, SSRS, MQ, Control-M, Jira/Confluence.
Opportunities: Rapidly growing account with opportunities for working directly with business users, expanding technical and capital markets knowledge, and developing consultancy / soft skills. Working along with highly professional and experienced developers gives opportunity for farther development of Java and DB skills, capital markets knowledge. Induction trip to USA is highly likely.

Responsibilities:
- Communicating with client on requirement
- Programming in Java, SQL
- Writing unit and functional tests
- L3 support (fixing bugs, resolving client problems)
Mandatory Skills:

Mandatory:
- At least 2 years of experience with Java.
- At least 2 years of experience with Oracle SQL.
- Strong query writing skills.
- Ability to communicate verbally with client in English: written/spoken -English on upper-intermediate level or higher.
- Understanding common SDLC.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
Optional:
- Experience with Investment Banking, Finance would be a big plus.
- Experience with SSRS is a big plus
- Experience with Control-M would be a plus.
- Experience in .NET would be a plus.
