Senior Software Engineer (Python) (offline)

The project embodies the comprehensive Smart Building system for the tallest skyscrapers in Europe. These projects include a system of intelligent distribution of visitor flows through the latest tournaments, escalators, elevators, intercoms and more. The project is extremely interesting and ambitious, which is constantly being improved and therefore requires a larger team. The existing team of 4 developers (Lead, two middle and one junior dev) needs to be supplemented with two front-end developers active. The project involves visiting and tracking the practical work of equipment and software in the aforementioned buildings in Frankfurt and Warsaw.

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop new user-facing features
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
- Reviewing code work for accuracy and functionality.
- Creating and implementing design plans.
- Write Unit Tests

Requirements:

- Work experience as a Python Developer
- Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask or Pyramid)
- Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)
- General knowledge of both front-end and backend technologies
- Good understanding of OOP and solid programming experience
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (like JavaScript and HTML5)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Good understanding of browser rendering behaviour and performance
