Senior DevOps Engineer (offline)

Project Description:
As new applications and data are deployed and generated in the automobile, the underlying IT infrastructure within the vehicle needs to modernize. Sonatus will be bringing to market an in-vehicle ethernet network in 2020. The company is head-quartered in Silicon Valley, California.


Responsibilities:
1. Architect, design, configure, automate, and manage reliable, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure for IoT services, big data analytics, and cloud based applications
2. Design, implement, and manage CI/CD solutions for both development and production environments
3. Communicate with customer in case of unclear technical requirement in the specifications. Resolve such inconsistencies
4. Act according the standards of the automotive industry and software development processes


Mandatory Skills:
1. BS in CS/EE or related field
2. 3+ years of DevOps experience (including experience with Kubernetes)
3. Experience with scaling and securing cloud infrastructure for a production environment
4. Proficient in Python and other scripting languages
5. Excellent problem solving skills
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Nice-to-Have Skills:
1. C/С++ or GO
2. Experience with micro service architecture
3. Knowledge in common tools and frameworks to build and scale cloud infrastructure
4. Experience with best practices, tools, and process to secure cloud infrastructure
5. Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
6. Automotive experience is a plus


Languages:
English: Upper-intermediate
