Senior .NET Software Engineer (F#) (offline)

POSITION DESCRIPTION

As a Senior .Net Software Engineer (F#), you will live on the front lines of the products we create, and build features used by millions of people every day.

Our customer owns a leading e-commerce platform currently driving the fourth retail marketplace in the world by volume. It has great chances to further expand its leading position in the online retail business.
The back-end is implemented as a highly scalable set of .Net microservices. The programming language of choice for the back-end is F#. Key technologies used for middleware and persistence are Kafka, Redis, ElasticSearch, EventStore, Azure SQL. Front-end is mostly Angular (JS,TS) with RESTful Web APIs on the back-end.

PROJECT TECHNOLOGIES AND TOOLS

- Azure PaaS, georedundant installation over the US
- .Net microservices, F#
- Kafka, Redis, ElasticSearch, EventStore, Azure SQL
- Angular (JS,TS) with RESTful Web APIs

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Being a part of the development team covering Finance/Accounting business needs
- Deliver all phases involved into software development lifecycle in offshore setup under minimal client supervision
- Develop new as well as modify existing codebase
- Effectively interact with front-end developers and business owners
