Lead Data Science Engineer (offline)

Key Responsibilities
• Participate in solution analysis, design and architecture (Data Science related)
• Lead a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers and big data specialists
• Provide services well autonomously, without close supervision, readiness to take responsibility
• Experiment with new models and techniques
• Interpret and analyze data problems
• Answer questions by using appropriate techniques and methods from the available data sources
• Quickly adapt and learn new technologies to solve business issues.

Competences
• 4+ years in machine learning related field
• Python3, numpy, scikit-learn, pandas, scipy
• Solid understanding of most modern ML algorithms and approaches
• Good math skills (Probability Theory, Mathematical Statistics, Linear Algebra)
• Excellent presentation/communication skills
• Good written and spoken English (Upper-intermediate level)
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• A business mindset

Would be a plus
• M.S. or Ph.D. in AI, Machine Learning, Statistics, Computer Science or related
• Participation in Kaggle competitions
• Experience with NLP or Computer Vision
• Experience with Big Data tech stack (HDFS, Hive, Spark, Storm)
• Familiarity with NoSQL datastores (HBASE, Elasticserach, Cassandra, etc.)
• Able to build meaningful visualizations of results
• Experience with data-mining methods and technologies
