Senior Manual Test Engineer (offline)

First assignment will be to join one of our market management teams to help them to round up final project release in April. Afterwards you will join one of our bigger market management projects and continue work towards product quality improvement.

About the Project: Our customer is a company, which builds, owns and operates an exempted power interconnector through the Channel Tunnel to provide a transmission link between the UK and France.

The product being designed by Luxoft embodies a Nomination Platform responsible for :
• computation of the interconnector capacity
• dealing with Joint Allocation Office (JAO) to attribute the capacity
• handling the Nominations of the attributed capacity
• dealing with capacity outages and impact on nominations

Our team: 4 Developers with lead from Luxoft side + PM from client's side. Our client is located in Paris.

Technologies used: This solution is an IT system that is running on Linux, JEE platform and SQL databases.
Responsibilities:
1. Work in distributed team
2. Validate requirements
3. Perform manual testing of a separate Stories/Features
4. Perform regression testing for releases
5. Closely collaborate with customer
6. Optionally (after the first release) - support and run automated tests
Mandatory Skills:
1. English - Upper intermediate or higher is a must
2. 4+ years of experience in software testing
3. Experience with Agile framework
4. Experience with JIRA
5. Experience with Git and CI/CD
6. Strong understanding of XML
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience in creating *.bat/*.sh scripts and manual deployment is a big plus
SQL skills is a plus
test automation and scripting languages is a plus
Languages:
English: Upper-intermediate
