Support & Deployment Expert (offline)

What do you need?
- 3+ experience in application support & deployment
- 3+ experience in programming languages is welcome (e.g. C/C++, Cobol, Perl)
- excellent data modeling and SQL knowledge
- experience with Jira, HP Service desk/analogue, Git
- good knowledge of Operating Systems (e.g. Unix, Windows) and Database technology (e.g. Oracle) - PL/SQL, Oracle, MySQL

What to do?
- administer and configure applications on production
- document/record all configuration items (CIs), including versions, baselines, constituent components, their attributes and relationships
- generate improvement suggestions out of configuration, asset & license management findings
- support of application life cycle and continuous improvement of applications
- provide 2nd level support for applications
- initiate changes based on incidents and problems (bug-fixing)
- active participation in planning and preparation of deployment (e.g. big bang vs. phased go-live)
