Senior Software Test Automation Engineer (Java) (offline)

Employing more than 60,000 people in over 160 countries, it produces more than 850 million product units every year. Business trips to Herz, Germany are expected.

As a part of EPAM delivery team you will be responsible for test automation for product information delivery solution in complex MDM ecosystem according to customer’s quality standards.

On this role, your responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, defining test cases and test cases automation, defining and aligning testing framework and toolset according to customer standards. Customer communication and alignment with other teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Define testing strategy for the product which consists of few thousands of attributes with references to the additional scope of data
Implement automated tests for data validation
Confident Java knowledge
Select and automate Unit tests for one or two business rules
Conduct bug reporting and verification
Execute and manage test cases and results, report on test and defect metrics
Maintain incoming data quality control
Interpret specific business rules for better tests quality
Analyze previous solution(s) and reasons of failure, improve processes
Preferably - highlight potential pitfalls and provide solutions for E2E transactions and System Integration Testing
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years’ experience in test automation
Proficiency in Java 8 programming language
Expertise in Cucumber
Experience in working with CI/CD tools: Jenkins
Confident knowledge of REST Services
Experience in Kafka (Kafka streaming, KSQL)
Experience in Spring, Spring Boot
Familiarity with Agile mindset and Scrum would be a plus
Good knowledge of load/performance testing would be a plus
Ability for manual tests execution when the team needs is prerequisite
Good communication skills
Intermediate or higher English level, both speaken and written (B1+)
