Research Engineer with DevOps (Poland) (offline)

Our client is providing software intelligence to simplify enterprise cloud complexity and accelerate digital transformation.

The team exists to help other companies monitor all their products and technologies for problems in their production environments, and to clearly identify those problems so their IT operations can seamlessly tackle the issues.

Key words: provisioning, CI/CD, Big Data, Cloud, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), streaming, databases, queues, security.

If you an expert in any of the following domains it could be a great place for you to create solutions that solve domain-specific customer problems. The team will create the next set of plugins to expand the range of technologies which are monitored and help customers operate smoothly.

Keep in mind that this is not a DevOps/SRE position – there will be no “on call” and no emergency calls! In this position, you work to prevent.

Expected skills & experience:

Understanding and practice experience with problems that companies face in the area of daily IT infrastructure operations
The commitment to understand and monitor customers individual needs
The aspiration to do a lot of technology detailed research to understand what is needed
Demonstrate full-product thinking
Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
Written and spoken English
Experience as a Python developer would be a plus
Practice in giving presentations would be a plus
You’ll be responsible for:

Research and prototype what technologies are the most required and cooperation with product management team on what to select next
Explore what is essential for a particular technology and determine what should be the MVP plugin solution.
Collaboration between teams to attain the right solution for the clients
Write, test, document and release the plugin in Python
