Product Owner for Healthcare Analytics Project (offline)

THE PRODUCT:
- A platform that provides REST API for the end user to manage and orchestrate various ML models (mostly Spark/PySpark-based) focused on different aspects of healthcare domain
- IDE/Ecosystem for Data Scientists team to implement the new ML models and manage the automated lifecycle for model training. Ecosystem is currently based on (but not limited to) IBM Cloud services such as Watson Studio, Analytic Engine, Kubernetes Service/OpenShift.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Actively communicate with distributed team members, including executives, managers, IT professionals, and subject matter experts
- Work with both Data Scientists and Engineering teams on gathering, prioritizing and further decomposition of requirements
- Work with stakeholders on defining the roadmap for the product and monitor business value growth
- Define requirements at the granular level; develop and maintain project backlog
- Manage acceptance testing and present the results to the client
- Facilitate team process using Scrum principles and drive Engineering team meetings
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 2+ years of experience working as a Product Owner or Business Analyst
- Basic understanding of the cloud (AWS/Azure/IBM), distributed computing and related ecosystem
- Understanding of the CI/CD principles
- Knowledge of Agile software development practices
- Spoken and written English (Upper-Intermediate or higher)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Technical background and mindset
- Understanding of the REST API design
- Experience with AI/ML, Hadoop, Big Data
- Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling
- Understanding of distributed compute approach (e.g., Spark)
