Senior/ Middle PHP Developer (offline)

We are an own-product company developing an integrated super app marketplace, a Global-Commerce & messaging platform. We are recruiting in Kyiv and Lviv to bring our team up to strength.

We are looking for a skilled PHP/Laravel developer to join the backend development team in our office in the centre of Kyiv/ Lviv. We need not just any developer but an experienced developer.

Project summary:
We are working on a complex web application for a global online marketplace providing wider functionality including multichannel marketing, messaging, referrals, rewards, reviews, and much more. The project is currently in prototype stage.

Developer responsibilities:
Suggest architectural and structural solutions for the project
Refactor and restructure the existing project components
Completely rewrite components of the project where necessary
Develop and implement new features and functions
Keep everything covered by automatic tests

Technology stack:
Linux
PHP7, Laravel, Symfony, Lumen
Relational Database (MySQL, etc.)
AWS
NoSQL, TimeLine databases

Required experience:
Minimum 5+ years experience in software development in PHP
Minimum 2+ years experience in PHP/Laravel/Lumen/Symfony development
Database query optimisation
Building complex business logic
RESTful interfaces
Data scraping/extraction/migration
API integration, modules
Experience with Atlassian stack (Jira, Git, Confluence)
Strong knowledge of TDD (Test-driven development)
Must have practical experience of CI/CD
