Senior Data Engineer (offline)

Requirements:

— At least 2-3 years of experience working as a Data Engineer (or equivalent role) that included the development of ETL pipelines, designing database structures, and implementing production-grade data processing components
— Confident knowledge in Python(preferable)/Java/Scala
— Strong computer science background: algorithms, data structures, and databases
— Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases
— Experience with batch (Hadoop, Spark, etc.) and streaming (Spark Streaming, Apache Flink, etc.) data processing tools
— Understanding of distributed data processing and storage systems
— Experience sufficient to use modern CI/CD tooling and automation tools, such as Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD
— Experience with job schedulers (e.g., Apache Airflow)
— Upper-Intermediate English

Nice to have:

— BS or MS degree in computer science, statistics, databases, machine learning, data science, statistics, applied math, or other relevant fields (or equivalent experience)
— Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
— Experience with AWS (IoT, DocumentDB, Kinesis, S3, Lambda)
— Experience with Elastic stack
— Machine Learning experience

Responsibilities:

— Implement data pipelines that would support model research, development, and deployment
— Build and maintain tools to enforce data quality, security, and consistency
— Implement production-grade data pipelines that provide reliable and resilient data ingestion, processing, and storage
— Design and implement data architecture and data layout that would support the required use cases
— Implement monitoring and alerting tools to detect and respond to any failures in data processing or other data-related components
