Control Systems Engineer (offline)

Responsibilities:
Creating software level requirements from the system level requirements
Creating software architectures
Creating detailed software design documentation and ensuring documentation quality through design reviews
Implementing quality software through adoption of the coding standards/best practices and ensuring software quality through code reviews
Conducting unit testing and producing test reports
Conducting integration testing and producing test reports
Supporting the Validation team through system testing and client witnessed testing

Mandatory Skills:
The candidate will be educated to degree level in electrical, electronic engineering or computer science and have at least significant experience in HVDC software development, with experience in at least one area of Control, Protection or Sequencing or equivalent knowledge or experience

An enquiring mind and desire to learn new skills, an ability to apply different engineering disciplines and a willingness to share the knowledge are essential qualities.
Educated to degree level in electrical, electronic engineering or computer science or equivalent knowledge or experience
Experience in HVDC software development
Experience in requirements capture
Strong documentation skills
Strong Matlab/Simulink and/or C experience
Strong unit & integration testing knowledge
Strong communication skills
