Ops Lead (offline)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Ops Lead to join our team to help us in achieving our business needs. You’ll have the opportunity to work with lots of different technologies like Yocto Project, Hadoop clusters, and Terraform in a constantly changing environment. You will deal with an interesting cloud infrastructure along with delivery to IoT devices. In addition, you will have the possibility to lead of team of great individuals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Take technical ownership of infrastructure components and monitoring toolset
• Work collaboratively providing support and sharing knowledge to other colleagues across all teams
• Provide leadership and be a mentor of Operations team
• Participate in architecture decisions across the product systems
• Work on emerging technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Yarn
• Manage OTA updates deployment flow for fleet of IOT devices.
• Maintain and continuously improve deployment automation pipelines
• Be self-sufficient about functional and process tasks to work under minimal supervision or assistance
• Maintain and improve an interesting and challenging technology stack without legacy systems
• Flexible, balanced, always striving for improvements
• Work with different cloud providers
• Keeping an eye on IT security of infrastructure.

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications & Experience:
• Hadoop experience (HDFS, Yarn, Hbase, Spark)
• AWS proficiency
• Terraform proficiency (modules, multi-env, multi-account setups)
• Solid understanding of IaC, automation, CI/CD, DevOps principles
• Good experience with configuration management software (Ansible/SaltStack)
• Python/bash scripting experience
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with GitLab CI/Jenkins
• Experience with different monitoring stacks (TICK, Graphite, Prometheus, Zabbix)
• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Experience with Postgresql
• Experience with columnar databases
• Understanding of networking
• Understanding of VPN operation: OpenVPN, IPsec
• Container orchestration tools experience (k8s, Swarm, etc.)
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault
• Experience with LDAP, OIDC, SAML (FreeIPA, Keycloak).

Nice to have:
• Experience with building embedded linux (Yocto)
• Golang.
