Data Scientist (offline)

Work in a team made up of passionate Architects, Software Engineers, Business Analyst, Quality Engineers, User Interaction Designer Engineers, Software Architects, and the Product Owner team to lead the design, development, and delivery of high Quality Software in a fast paced, collaborative and creative environment.

You should have willingness to work with Flexible working hours to facilitate communication with global teams/ team members

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
• Develop Python based applications and services for application Software with latest technologies
• Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
• Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
• Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
• Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosen
Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness

Mandatory Skills:
• Demonstrated skill in statistical modelling(Regression, Classification, Time-series forecasting) and in machine learning packages.
• Demonstrated skill at data cleansing, data quality assessment and using analytics for data assessment
• Demonstrated awareness of feature extraction and real-time analytics methods
• Familiar with PyCharm/Sublime Text and build tools
• Experience with unit testing/ Unit testing tools/ Continuous Integration

Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Familiar with PyCharm/Sublime Text/STS/Eclipse/IntelliJ IDE's, Maven/Ant build tools
• Familiar with Python Packages Egg/Wheel etc.
• Familar with API Frameworks like Swagger, WADL
• Experience with unit testing/ Unit testing tools/ Continuous Integration
• Demonstrates awareness about competitors and industry trends
• Experience working on software projects in the Renewable Energy domain
• Demonstrates awareness about competitors and industry trends
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, team building and problem-solving abilities
• Persists to completion, especially in the face of overwhelming odds and setbacks.
