.NET Back-End Developer (POS system) (offline)

Requirements:
3 years’ experience in commercial software development
Strong knowledge of .NET, C#, Multi-threading, Async programming
Proficiency in OOP/OOD
Good understanding of software product life-cycle, software architecture
Work Experience with ASP.NET MVC Web API
Good knowledge of at least one RDMS, SQL
At least Upper-Intermediate spoken and written English level

Desired skills
Work experience with ASP.NET MVC, MS SQL Server
Experience with desktop development for Windows platform, like WPF or Windows Forms
Practical experience with other programming languages and technology stacks like Java, JavaScript, C++, etc
Work experience with GIT, JIRA
Experience in integration of payment systems, hardware, specialized devices
Experience with full SDLS starting with gathering the requirements from a customer and writing technical specifications up to post-production maintenance and support

Responsibilities:
Development of new functionality as well as, support and maintenance of the existing solution.
Active participation in development of functional as well as technical design specifications, estimation of efforts, mentoring junior staff.
Work with a team in Agile environment
Perform other related duties as required

About the project:
Point of Sale (POS) system is designed for collecting payments on the Oresund bridge toll gates from the drivers paying for passage as they pass.
The Point of Sale system has the following variations:
— A self-service kiosk for self-service payments
— A clerk counter solution for collecting payments with one or more payment methods in multiple currencies
— Administration capabilities via POS Admin solution

In addition, Point of Sale system is used for interaction with tall gate equipment, different hardware and ERP system.
