Senior Data Streaming Engineer (Kafka) (offline)

Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining Data Pipelines
Developing and maintaining Microservices
Performance tuning Microservices
Monitoring Data Pipelines and Microservices
Creating Unit, System, Integration and performance tests
Documenting Architecture, Code and Coverage

Requirements:
5+ years’ work experience with JVM Based Languages (Java, Kotlin, Scala)
Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases
Proficient in core Rest Services, Spring Boot, Netflix OSS stack, JUnit, Mockito
Experienced with Microservice architecture
Experienced with Data Streaming technologies (Apache Kafka, Amazon Kinesis, Rx java, Akka, Apache Bookkeeper)
Hands on experience in application code and deployment
Knowledge of Agile/Lean framework and methodology
Ability to produce detailed, comprehensive software documentation, such as testing plans, requirements specs, design docs, (incorporate technical requirements for user stories)
Nice to have: Jira experience, Service Now experience, Confluence, Teams, Teradata, Hadoop, Apache Beam, Apache Flink
