DevOps Engineer (offline)

Kyivstar is looking for an DevOps Engineer to drive different life cycles of a large-scale distributed system. Built with open source technologies, our systems handle billions of records daily, generating terabytes of data. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for all operational aspects of the production and staging environments, managing multiple clusters in other ecosystems, involved into migration services to Kubernetes and cloud.

Requirements:
- Experienced Linux system engineer - at least 3 years of Linux experience (or 2 years DevOps)
- Expertise with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)
- Standard monitoring applications (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.) and deployment / system integration / configuration management tools (Jenkins, Ansible)
- Management of big data solutions (HDP or Cloudera stack) and large messaging infrastructures (Kafka)
- Administration of PostgreSQL and in memory DB clusters such as Apache Ignite, Aerospike, etc
- Management of MongoDB/ElasticSearch/Cassandra clusters and/or other large-scale NoSQL solutions
- Containers orchestration, Kubernetes, Docker
- Expertise with Azure cloud/Amazon Web Services or similar will be plus

Responsibility:
- Deployment and maintenance data management platform clusters and services for different environments
- CI/CD processes automation
- Services migration to Kubernetes environment and cloud (as option)
