Contract Editor (offline)

Project Description:
On behalf of our customer we are looking for technical writer to document concepts, architectures and procedures around the developed application. The successful candidate will work independently and collaborate with developers, SMEs, and stakeholders to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:
-• edit documents for both technical and business audiences and are able to assess the depth of editing required for each.
• work independently as well as collaborate with developers, SMEs, and stakeholders to meet deadlines.
• Edit for content, grammar, structure and style.
• Maintain the Style Guide,
• Maintain quality standards.
• Provide constructive criticism on structure, grammar and style.
• Liaise regularly with teams to support accuracy and style standards.
• Check final documents to ensure all information, text and graphics are clear and accurate.
• Ensure documents are appropriately indexed and passed along to production or archived correctly.
• track project and document development process.
• Use an agile workflow.

Mandatory Skills:
• An excellent command of written English
• the ability to simplify intricate financial terminology and content
• a structured and analytical approach with the ability to communicate succinctly, tactfully and assertively
• an excellent organisational skills, including an ability to work accurately to tight deadlines, with a high level of attention to detail
• significant experience in a similar role, ideally working with technical publications of a financial nature
• editorial or proofreading training, diploma or degree.
