Middle QA Engineer (offline)

Ascendix is looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our team that develops Ascendix product — Composer publishing tool. The domain is Real Estate Marketing, Reports Generation and Integration services. You will participate in team activities and product feature design, demo, and communications with Product Owner.

Your future team will consist of: Tech Lead, Front-End Developer, BA, and PM.

Required skills
● 2 + year in testing, including Web API testing;
● Intermediate English;
● University degree in a technical field;
● Conceptual knowledge of SDLC;
● Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance methodologies and practices;
● Understanding of the main principles of non-functional testing;
● Experienced user of windows;
● Good problem-solving skills;
● Strong analytical skills;
● Attention to details;
● Good communication and presentation skills.

As a plus
● Experience in automation testing of web applications using Java.
● Experience with performance testing (JMeter, Postman);
● Knowledge of Docker Kubernetes and Azure;
● Experience with debugging tools and Fiddler.

Responsibilities
● Manual product testing, including the production of document packs for review and sign-off;
● API testing using automation tools (SoapUI, JMeter, Postman);
● Creation/update existing test documentation;
● Test-cases, check-lists execution;
● Take part in smoke/sanity/functional/regression/acceptance testing;
● Reporting test results to relevant parties;
● Requirements testing/ validation;
● Requirements clarification, participation in meetings, and demos.
