Cloud Software Engineer (Java) (offline)

Project Description:
The cloud team is responsible for architecture and development of cloud-based infrastructure that manages personal storage devices of 500K users and we are growing fast! Our environment consists of microservices and lambdas written in Java and Go and running in modern AWS stack (ECS and EKS). At the moment one of the biggest challenging tasks is to upgrade or CI/CD flow along with the tech stack unification, we are JVM advocates. This is not a classical outsourcing project - we are moving toward product thinking and constantly increase our scope of our responsibility. Along with the customer our main goal is to build a strong team of talented engineers that is completely hands-on with all the things down the production way - from feature requests to deployment.

Customer considers Luxoft team as a part of their own development team, so trip Silicon Valley office are regular.

Responsibilities:
• Build distributed, scalable and secure microservices running in AWS
• Collaborate with other engineers and ensure we follow solid engineering principles
• Be a proactive team member with constant passion to improve our product

Mandatory Skills:
Must skill #1 - Proactive communication & Strong sense of ownership
