Technology Director (offline)

In connection with rapid business growth in the last years as well as the company's ambitious strategy, Intellias is strengthening the capabilities in technology area. To do this we are looking for a seasoned manager to join us in the position of Director for a newly created organization Technology Office (TO) with a mission to establish Intellias as a leader in technology field. As an organization, TO will combine under its umbrella such functions as Technology Consulting, Solutions Design, Software Engineering Excellence, Innovative Labs as well as implement external and internal technology services within company Service Portfolio.

The role will report to Chief Delivery Officer.

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineering / Delivery manager with hands-on technical background and a proven track record in the same / similar Director level role in well-established software outsourcing company (1500+ employees).

Key qualifications:
- MSc or PhD Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or another engineering area; additional business or financial education would be an advantage;
- 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering and Outsourcing;
- Profound understanding of large IT outsourcing company "internal kitchen" (governance, processes, org. structure, financial management, etc.);
- Deep understanding of Solution Architecture, Business Analysis, Product Management, UX Design and other functional areas of software engineering;
- Deep understanding of modern technology trends and technology itself (IoT, Data Science, Machine Learning, Big Data, etc.);
- Lean mindset, combining technology and entrepreneurial skills with core management skills; leadership presence;
- Advanced level or written and spoken English.
