On behalf of Imagine Software, Ciklum is looking for a Senior C++ Developer to join the Dnipro team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
As a Senior C++ Engineer, you will be responsible for developing high-speed risk management systems in C++ for the Linux operating system. Working together with our business analysts and financial markets practitioners, you will respond to their needs for solutions with the latest technologies at your disposal. Sharing your knowledge with your team-members and guiding junior colleagues in technical decisions, you help your team get a grasp on the complexities of the business.
Requirements
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals:
- Operating system concepts;
- Data structures and algorithms;
- Complexity analysis;
- Multithreading/concurrency, etc.
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application;
- Strong unit test and debugging skills;
- 5+ years of professional experience with C++;
- C++ 14/17;
- STL;
- Boost;
- Unit Testing Framework(s);
- Evaluating multiple technical approaches and selecting the most effective;
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript;
- B.S. Computer Science or Computer Engineering at minimum. M.S. or PhD preferred.
Desirable
- CMake;

- SQL;

- JSON/BSON;
- JavaScript;
- Good understanding of RESTful service design and API design and best practices;
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application;
- Building and maintaining large scale resilient distributed systems with long life spans;

- A passion for performance optimization;
- A passion for profiling code and figuring out which piece of the software can be scaled most effectively.
