Senior QA Automation Engineer, Digital Trading Platform (Wroclaw, Lyublin) (offline)

About the vacancy
Our client is a global financial services group that provides some of Europe’s most important infrastructure for securities trading, clearing, and custody. The group recently started a multi-year program to create an entirely new ecosystem for digital assets trading, based on a microservice architecture with digital ledger technologies.

The expected project team will reach 30 to 40 people organized in 4-5 feature teams following Domain Driven design and managed using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Technology stack: Kotlin, Javelin, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Cucumber, Openshift, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities
Implementation, supervision and continuous improvement of automated testing (toolchain approach, tests and test data) with focus on end-to-end testing
Working in Lean/Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban or SAFe)
Strong collaboration with the product owner and other team members
Working in cross-functional motivated team with high skills and ambitions
Regular business trips to Zurich with the option of a longer onsite presence (6 months or more)
Must have
Team player with initiative and result-oriented attitude, a good sense for quality
Extensive analytical and problem solving skills
5+ years of test automation, test design and test management experience with websites, mobile platforms, Web Services & REST
2+ years of leadership experience
Experience with BDD, Cucumber
Experience with unit and integration tests development using Java/Kotlin and xUnit
Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle and others)
Experience in integration with CI systems such as TeamCity, Bamboo, Jenkins, or other
Solid understanding of micro-service architectures
Experience using version control systems (Git, Subversion)
Good English
Would be a plus
Experience implementing automation in a project from scratch
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
Experience in testing microservice-based architectures
Experience with test automation using Selenium, Jasmin, etc.
Experience in manual testing
