DevOps Engineer (offline)

Requirements:
Flexibility to perform both Integration and Verification tasks
Quality and excellence are the first words from your mouth in any conversation
Roadblocks are fun problems to solve rather than impediments to your success
Enjoy both troubleshooting and development of new functionalities
Effectively communicate and build relationships with people both close and from afar (GL team will need to work closely with ETH teams)
5+ years IT R&D experience
English - upper-intermediate

Required technical competence:
Seniority in scripting (bash, python)
Ansible based IT provisioning & deployment
Jenkins based continuous test automation and execution
Strong Linux configuration & operation skills (must: RHEL, good to have: SUSE)
Experience in Security issues resolve is a plus
SW integrator mindset
Git

Additional competence that will be a big plus:
Java
Packaging (rpm)
Hadoop software ecosystem (e.g., HBase, HDFS, Zabbix, Yarn), PSQL, Kafka, Impala
Groovy

Responsibilities:
Research, design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems or applications software.
Build and maintain an ecosystem platform for distributed enterprise systems.
Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve system components conflicts.
