Business Analyst (offline)

Project Description:
The client - product company based in London, UK and New York, US, is a world leader in critical information, analytics and expertise to forge solutions for the major industries and markets that drive economies worldwide. The company delivers next-generation information, analytics and solutions to customers in business, finance and government, improving their operational efficiency and providing deep insights that lead to well-informed, confident decisions.
Customer's technical platform require modernization to fully utilize benefits of modern technologies / architecture trends. The project is intended to implement existing capabilities on new platform and technology stack, implement Modern, User-Friendly, CLAF UI, integrate with other platform components.

Responsibilities:
• Communicate with project stakeholders on multiple levels to visualize business processes and elicit business needs
• Work closely to customer's Product Owner and Business Analyst to transform business needs into requirements
• Consult of the best practices of business needs solution
• Develop and manage requirement specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Prototype and model requirements where relevant
• Provide analytical support to the team
• Work in distributed team based in Kyiv and New York with deep level of communication inside of international team.

Mandatory Skills:
• Business process analysis and design - Strong, 5+;
• Business requirements elicitation for software development projects -
Strong, 5+;
• Business process modelling notations and tools (BPMN, IDEF0, etc.) -
Medium, 2+;
• Experience with SDLC supporting tools: Jira/Confluence, MS Office package - Medium, 1+;
• Understanding and experience with Agile software development methodology - Strong, 2+;
• Understanding of relational databases concept, SQL fundamentals - Medium, 1+;
• Understanding of UX concepts - Medium, 2+;
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
• Fluent spoken/written English
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong critical thinking skill
• Ability to communicate technical requirements with not-technical people
• Fluent presentation skills
