Middle Java Developer (offline)

The Customer is the premier game creator of the casino industry. Developing for the land-based, online, and social markets, the Customer has created hundreds of games that are played on six continents and in nearly 50 countries. The Project is a gaming platform.

Do not miss this amazing opportunity to join a team of top server engineers that design and build the heart of Customer’s games and product platform. You will be challenged to help propel Customer’s platform to the top tier of social gaming through adoption and application of the latest in the Server side, Big Data and AI technology, such as high scalable cloud based infrastructure, stream analysis and machine learning. You will be a key contributor to aspects of design and delivery of all Customer’s Server Systems, Services and Data Stores.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree. Masters preferred. Equivalent experience considered;
3+ years of Java development experience;
Experience in Java concurrency;
Self-motivated with strong time-management skills;
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences;
Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures, such as dynamic array, linked list, stack, queue, binary search, binary search tree, hash map, depth first search, breadth first search, and merge sort;
In-Depth knowledge of Object Oriented Design/Programming;
Experience in Relational Databases and NoSQL Databases;
Experience with Message Queues (Kafka preferred) with an understanding of message queue concepts and best practices.

Highly Desirable:
Experience with cloud service provider(s);
Experience in building modern distributed applications or micro services;
Experience with Container Management such as Docker and Kubernetes;
Java Developer Duties and Responsibilities;
Participate in the design and implementation of essential applications;
Demonstrate expertise and add valuable input throughout the development lifecycle;
Help design and implement scalable, lasting technology solutions;
Review current systems, suggesting updates as needed;
Gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders;
Test and debug new applications and updates;
Develop and utilize technical change documentation;
Strive to deploy all products and updates on time;
Help improve code quality by implementing recommended best practices;
Remain up to date on all current best practices, trends, and industry developments;
Maintain a high standard of work quality and encourage others to do the same;
Identify potential challenges and bottlenecks in order to address them proactively;
Work on projects in both individual and team-based capacities;
Work with team-members and other teams both locally and in remote locations/

Responsibilities:
Write well designed, testable, efficient code;
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle;
Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications;
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review;
