Java Developer (Financial Platform) (offline)

As a Java Developer, you will interact daily with a cross-functional team to coordinate and implement projects from initial brief to final delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and passion for developing and optimizing stock trading and capital market business processes using our highly scalable business process engine.

What you will be doing:

Full stack development experience with a focus on back end implementation;
Provide value by extending the existing business domain model and implementing server-side processing logic;
Automated testing and documentation via Cucumber test scenarios;
Assist in coding, versioning, and deployment of business objects and processes;
Work in an Agile environment to ensure quality, security, and maintenance of business processes;
Challenge established norms and innovate;
Contribute to the success of the business and team.
Requirements
We’d love to hear from you if you have the following:

2+ years commercial development experience;
Experience developing large scale server-side applications;
Strong emphasis on backend exposure with Java;
Good understanding of Object Oriented analysis and design;
Experience with Relational Databases and SQL;
Experience with XML and XSLT using Java XML tools;
Experience with JasperReports;
Proficiency in Ant/Maven;
Experience with Groovy;
Good English language written and verbal communication skills.


It is good if you previously had any exposure to:

Finance or Capital Markets business domain and especially post trade security processing;
Business application development frameworks like J2EE or Business Process Management (BPM) applications.
